Description of Work:
The scope of work included the following:
- Isolated replacement of deteriorated brick at the mechanical penthouse.
- Isolated repair of deteriorated mortar joints at the mechanical penthouse.
- Application of an elastomeric coating to the exterior of the mechanical penthouse.
- Removal of masonry at ground floor columns to expose structural steel columns, reinforce steel columns, installation of new masonry complete with horizontal expansion joint.

Description of Work:
The scope of work included masonry restoration at 1009 Burns Street East including:
- Isolated replacement of deteriorated brick.
- Isolated repair of deteriorated mortar joints.
- Installation of 20 plus vertical expansion joints in the masonry cladding including saw cutting, installation of retrofit brick ties (Spira-Lok as manufactured by Blok-Lok) and installation of backer rod and joint sealant.
